MFT Advocate
Individuals who earn the MFT Advocate badge have completed training and/or service related to MFT Advocacy. This badge is earned by completing the Advocacy Academy training or by serving as a state Family TEAM leader, contributing to the advancement and protection of the MFT profession.

Earning Criteria

Completed an immersive virtual training on health advocacy, including working with Congress, federal appropriations, using your story in advocacy, and how to use the media and social media in advocacy work.

Completed exams for all nine Advocacy Academy modules with a passing score.

Has put their advocacy training into action by participating in meetings with policymakers and other advocacy actions.

This badge can also be earned by serving in a volunteer leadership capacity with the Family TEAM.
