Federal Compliance
Earners of the AACRAO Federal Compliance fundamentals badge have developed the foundational understanding of federal statutory and regulatory requirements that often fall under the purview of the registrar, admissions, or enrollment services offices on campus. Recipients are versed in their institution’s obligations in regulations throughout seven content areas: FERPA Basics, GDPR vs FERPA, Solomon Amendment, Clery Act, Voter Registration, Constitution Day, and Decennial Census.

Pass the final assessment based on all seven courses in the AACRAO Compliance Corner with 70% or higher.
Standards
Strong working knowledge of state, federal, accreditation and institutional student records compliance mandates and proven leadership, the training of staff, faculty, and administrators. Demonstrated professional achievement working with student records and academic policy enforcement.
