History and Progress: 400 Years of American Higher Education
Earners of the AACRAO History and Progress: 400 Years of American Higher Education badge have developed a fundamental understanding of the historical foundation of American higher education throughout four content areas: important legal cases, significant “firsts”, higher education trailblazers and important historical events from1970-2020. Recipients are versed in historical “firsts” and how these impact current ideas, processes, and policies in strategic enrollment management (SEM) and beyond.

Earners of the badge completed all the modules in the the self-paced course. The modules include significant "firsts", who's who, U.S. Supreme Court rulings and legislation, and recent history from 1970-2020.

Pass the final assessment based on all seven courses in the AACRAO Compliance Corner with 70% or higher.
