Academic programs that participate in the ASEM® Academic Partnership understand the importance of their graduates being prepared with the management, leadership, and interpersonal skills necessary to complement their technical knowledge. Students in academic partner programs are student members and have electronic access to the Engineering Management Body of Knowledge and the Engineering Management Handbook.® These are excellent resources to provide course materials.

Earning Criteria

The ASEM® Academic Partnership program helps to coordinate membership enrollment of large numbers of students related to such activities as student chapters or class activities. The primary goals for this program are to help with the administrative burden and facilitate the member registration process for students to join ASEM. Based on the needs of programs, four partnership levels have been developed. Academic partners also receive discounts for engineering management certification.
