Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI)

Earners of the Senior Certified Welding Inspector are experienced CWIs who have a deeper and more highly detailed understanding of advanced NDE topics, quality systems, and procedure qualifications. Not only are SCWIs capable of performing inspections, they are able to supervise other CWIs and CAWIs. SCWIs prepare inspection procedures, review and interpret joining procedures, conduct audits of vendors and/or organizations providing materials or services to their company’s projects.
