Badge holders are required to have an APMP Membership and the APMP-Foundation certificate. The Practitioner exam requires candidates to have passed a multiple choice exam, scoring a minimum of 40 out of 80 marks (50%). The exam is a open book exam lasting 150 minutes.

APMP® Bid and Proposal Management Practitioner badge holders have previously passed the APMP Foundation exam.
