Earning Criteria

Badge earners begin with an assessment of their current knowledge and skill level. Assessment results are used to place the badge earner on one of four tailored learning paths.

Badge earners complete a series of self-paced online classes on topics such as data informed decision making framework, decision making analytic techniques, data storytelling, aggregations and distributions, correlation and causation, signal and noise, and selection bias, among others.

Badge earners complete four classroom sessions which cover topics such as disinformation, bias and fairness, ethical foundations and practical tools, privacy, and data surveillance.
