Earning Criteria

• Leadership at APS: Complete a series of learning experiences around leadership in the utility industry, energy sector, and more specifically at APS.
• Complete the 6 Critical Practices to Leading a Team series of virtual workshops. This series equips first-level leaders with the essential skills and tools to get work done with and through other people.
• Complete the InsideOut Coaching series of virtual workshops. This series equips leaders with a new mindset and provides tools that will help them use coaching more frequently and effectively to deliver targeted results for the organization.
• Complete the Fierce Conversations series of virtual workshops. This series helps leaders transform their conversations to be more effective and maintain stronger relationships. It deepens their understanding of and appreciation for differing, often competing views of reality and equips them to have effective delegation conversations to free up time for other responsibilities.
• Complete qualification card assignments that require the badge earner to practice using the mindsets, skillsets, and toolsets introduced throughout APS Leadership Academy.
• The earner of this badge has successfully completed an oral board to assess the knowledge obtained from all Leadership Academy components. This session is facilitated as an open dialogue by a panel of our executive team.
