Students who complete this badge will learn how their consumption and behaviors impact the Earth. They will describe how greenhouse gas emissions are influencing our current climate system, and the tools and evidence used by climate scientists to determine climates of the past and to predict future climates. The learner will then learn strategies for minimizing their personal impact, and that of their communities, in 3 areas; energy consumption, solid waste and its disposal, and urban planning.
