Completed a 3-day Foundation week, building country-specific knowledge of key Asian societies and insights into those contemporary opportunities and challenges that shape the bilateral relationship with Australia
Developed their individual Asia capabilities with cross-cultural negotiation skills and tangible communication channels and tools with Asia
Explored a range of key topics including, disruptive innovation in Asia and geo-strategic issues impacting Australia’s engagement with the region
Immersed themselves in a 4-day intensive Summit, exploring Asia-engagement through the federal lens, to understand the context for our strategic, foreign, economic and trade, industry and innovation policies. Leaders Program participants have engaged with leading academic experts, senior business executives, ministers and shadow ministers, and civil servants to expand and deepen their ability to contribute at the most senior levels
Undertaken a practical, guided, Asia-focused workplace project that applies the skills and knowledge they gained to the context of their work
