Earning Criteria

Certificants must complete a project-based paper demonstrating their ability to apply the Medical Device Safety Concepts to the use of an FDA-cleared medical device within their practice setting.
Certificants will complete an 6.0 hour continuing education course with a live instructor. Our training series will consist interactive sessions, each focusing on a different aspect of medical device safety. Topics will include: Advanced Risk Management Techniques, Enhancing Patient Safety in Healthcare Settings, and Mitigation of Adverse Events.
Certificants will successfully complete a 30-question online, timed certification examination with a score of 85% or higher.
