TeamSTEPPS is an evidence-based teamwork system that has been proven to enhance patient safety and quality of care. By focusing on communication, leadership, and situational awareness, TeamSTEPPS helps healthcare teams work together more effectively and efficiently. Our training series will consist of multiple sessions, each focusing on a different aspect of TeamSTEPPS. Topics will include: Team structure, leadership, Situation monitoring, mutual support, & Communication.

Earning Criteria

Certificants must complete a project-based paper demonstrating their ability to apply the TeamSTEPPS concepts

Certificants will complete an 6.0 hour continuing education course with a live instructor.

Certificants will successfully complete a 25-question online assessment with a score of 80% or higher.
