Earners of the Leadership in the Middle Grades badge have an understanding of the essential attributes and characteristics of a successful middle grades school as well as the developmental and learning needs of students aged 10-15. They have the knowledge required to lead a school community to full implementation of the middle school model and are competent in how to leverage research and ongoing professional development to create a culture of continuous improvement in their school community.
