Facilitators earn this badge by leading faculty and other campus stakeholders to rethink and redesign their courses in age of generative AI. The badge is earned by providing growth-oriented feedback on individual assignments, encouraging exploration of AI technology and its impact on their teaching, and becoming AI thought-leaders on their campuses as evidenced by the number of individuals they engage. At minimum, earners spend 30 hours delivering feedback in the Teaching with AI course.

The goals of facilitating this course are to support participants on your campus, learn more about how your faculty are thinking about and using AI tools, gain experience in faculty and educational development, and become a leader in the AI conversation in your campus community. Facilitators in the AI course who complete at least 30 hours of service become eligible for this credential. Those who successfully complete the self-reflection survey (distributed and evaluated quarterly by AU) earn it.
