Professional Certificate Geophysics for Mining Professionals
Earners of this badge can explain the basis of geophysics and its use in industry. They can design basic gravity, magnetics and electromagnetics survey methods; and basic electrical, seismic and ground penetrating radar survey methods. They can describe geophysical workflows, annotate drawings and interpret and synthesise data into a conceptual site model or report. They can evaluate and justify projects for use of geophysics in industry. Earners are eligible to claim 40 PD hours with AusIMM.
