Professional Certificate in Laser Tattoo Removal

Issued by Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science

Earners of this badge have completed a nationally accredited unit of competency in laser and light-based procedures, a recognised laser safety officer's certificate as well as a unit in the principles of laser tattoo removal. These units, plus supervised laser hours are required to obtain a license from the Radiological Council of WA to perform tattoo removal using class 4, Q-Switched laser modalities.

This unit of competency CDNLBT02 Analyse light-based therapies used in cosmetic medicine is a core unit in the following nationally accredited qualifications; Graduate Diploma of Cosmetic Nursing and Injectables, Graduate Diploma of Dermal Science and the Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science.
