Earners of this badge are citizen scientists who have participated in the Rock Pool Project. They have learnt rocky shore species identification skills and survey techniques within the programme. Earners have received support, in terms of training and equipment, at our Falmouth and Plymouth hubs. After registering with the project, earners join one of our Blue Recovery beach days to receive initial training. This is followed up with field surveys and data processing.
