They have completed their online IHASCO training, which includes Health and Safety, Food Training, Fire Awareness, Inclusivity, Safeguarding, Cyber Security Awareness and Working in Licensed Premises. Along with online learning, earner has participated in and completed hands on specialist coffee training.

Earner has understood the importance of their job role as they are the first point of contact that most customers have when entering Market Hall. Earner has provided an excellent customer experience by greeting customers as they enter the Real Ideas café and responding quickly to customers’ needs while maintaining a friendly and positive demeanour, acting as a positive ambassador for Real Ideas.

Earner has demonstrated clear communication with both customers and staff. When the café has become busy, earner has communicated with customers and kept them informed, assuring them that their orders will be seen to as soon as possible. Earner has also used effective communication with their team to help create an efficient work environment and as a result, has met customers’ needs even when dealing with a heavy workload.

Earner has shown versatility by transferring their customer service skills into varying aspects of their job. In addition to taking/serving café orders, Earner can support customers over the phone and make sales for Real Ideas events and workshops on Eventbrite.

Earner has utilised their knowledge of Real Ideas services, spaces and programmes to give customers accurate answers to their questions. Earner recognises the array of people who come to Real Ideas and can recommend relevant information depending on the individual.

Earner has demonstrated organisational skills by reading work briefs prior to an atypical workday. This includes events, workshops and meetings being held at Market Hall. By preparing ahead, earner has been able to efficiently adapt to customers’ needs on that particular day as a result of being prepared.
