Earning Criteria

• Earner has learnt about Food Safety and Food Handling by completing the ‘Food Allergy Awareness’ and ‘Food Safety & Hygiene (Level 2)’ modules. Earner can confidently apply their learning in the Real Ideas Café and Kitchen and understands the importance of food safety.
• Earner has learnt how to create a safe working environment by completing the ‘Health & Safety Essentials’, ‘Manual Handling’ and ‘Fire Awareness’ modules. Earner understands the procedures required to protect the physical safety of themselves as well as others when at work.
• Earner can safely work online when sending emails and handling customers’ personal details because of completing the ‘Cyber Security Awareness’ and ‘GDPR UK: Essentials’ modules. Earner understands the importance of confidentiality, data handling and the law surrounding this.
• Earner has learnt about the laws related to serving alcohol and the ‘Challenge 25’ policy as a result of completing the ‘Working in Licensed Premises’ module. Earner knows how to implement these laws at work and understands the consequences of breaking them.
• Earner can accommodate the array of customers and employees at Real Ideas. They understand how to create an inclusive environment by applying their knowledge from the ‘Equality, Diversity & Inclusion’ and ‘Safeguarding Adults (Level 2)’ modules that they have completed.
