Earning Criteria

• Earner has used a stakeholder-planning model to help them identify the people and organisations they want to reach out to. Earner has used appropriate methods and tools to ensure these people and organisations are involved at every stage of the development of a community-based project.
• Earner has gained experience in outreaching identified key stakeholders and working alongside them to design and implement a community-linked project.
• Earner has gained experience in building partnerships with community support organisations in order to deliver projects and programmes that help people engage with the natural environment.
• Earner has identified and completed the necessary statutory training to deliver outdoor learning sessions in their particular outdoor environment. This training may include Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2, Fire Awareness / Fire Marshall, Paediatric First Aid, Outdoor First Aid, and Safeguarding.
• Earner has acquired a Level 2 Forest School Assistant qualification; enabling them to take a proactive role in helping a Forest School practitioner plan and deliver a Forest School programme and supporting the learners.
• Earner has gained experience working with diverse and marginalised groups and has demonstrated an understanding of how to provide services tailored to special needs. The earner has undertaken relevant training to support in these fields: Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Health & Safety in the Workplace (Level 2), and Keeping Children Safe in Education.
