• Earner has attended the conference of workshops, actively communicating with facilitators and other attendees to contribute to discussion and shape solutions.
• Earner has gained an understanding of the central role that economic factors play in creating a fairer democracy, and how community businesses, as locally accountable organisations and economic actors, can create power for people.
• Earner has explored how community assets can better help retain wealth and value in communities, bring people together, create a tangible symbol of confidence, and attract positive attention and investment.
• Earner has explored how, when working with local people, community businesses can organise and create better services and opportunities to solve problems in their neighbourhoods, and when working together through local networks and with national partners, collectively influence decision making, policy and law.
• Earner has explored current local and national policy framework and identified opportunities for greater collective action and partnerships to support and grow community power.
