Earner has researched and evaluated the costings for all aspects of a residential, including, travel, accommodation, activities, and places to eat. They have taken found information, compared and analysed the results, subject to needs, advantages and disadvantages rather than just costings. The findings have then been shared and debated within the team.

Earner has looked at hazards and risks that could occur within the residential. The earner has distinguished between the different aspects of the residential and looked at the risks accordingly; through group discussion they have identified ways of reducing risk, whilst still taking into account of individuals needs and abilities. During this process the earner has learnt the difference between risk and hazard and how to objectively look at a situation.

Earner has actively partaken and fully engaged in all aspects of the residential. They have pushed their own boundaries, challenging themselves both physically and mentally, and have overcome personal difficulties, such as, anxiety, managing large crowds and fear of the unknown.
