Cultural Leadership Badge

Issued by Beenleigh State High School

Student leaders receiving the Cultural Leadership Badge will have demonstrated cultural pride in their cultural group/s, by leading a group of students to prepare and present a creative item. They will have contributed to the wider school community wellness, leading by example, to inspire others, in their committed leadership within Beenleigh’s sociocultural spaces.

Earning Criteria

Commitment to Culture Group practices, accountability to the team, including TIC of Culture Group.
Communication/interpersonal skills demonstrated with leadership of Culture Group members.
Respect/responsibility demonstrated in weekly practices/meetings and general organisation of Culture Group; preparation and delivery of choreography, creative music pieces and costumes/uniform.
Participated in annual local and school events, in the presentation of creative performances and workshops to share and promote cultural knowledge.
