This microcredential offers students opportunities to apply their fundamental Python skills to hands-on individual and group projects. Projects and labs include web development, game development, calling APIs, web scraping, and building applications. Students learned command line, html/css, and markup/markdown languages, and an introduction to project management.

Students will complete HARP 150 & 151 with a C+ or higher.

Students have the choice to develop an application, access multiple datasets and create visualizations and an analysis of the data, or develop a game. Students follow a project management cycle, including user research prior to development of their project and user testing after their prototype is created.
