This is a 19-week, 420-hour Binghamton University Microcredential (noncredit) entry-level pharmacy technician training program that will prepare the graduate to confidently start their career in an expanding healthcare field. Pharmacy technicians are essential healthcare professionals who work with pharmacists to ensure the safety of our medication use system in hospitals and community pharmacies.

Earning Criteria

In order to earn this badge, the learner must complete 420 total hours of education experiences (including classroom, on-line self-paced, laboratory/simulation and experiential rotations) with competency assessments.

This program is currently in pre-accreditation status for Pharmacy Technician Accreditation Commission accreditation as an Entry-Level Pharmacy Technician Program.
