Badge earners are able to identify the basic parameters of electrical power in examples of electrical applications. They are able to describe what power converters are and why they are needed. They are able to describe the direction of current flow (AC and DC) in applications. They are able to describe the main origins of energy loss in battery packs. Badge earners are also able to recognize and differentiate between power dependent efficiency and energy efficiency.
