Supply Chain Management
Issued by
Binghamton University
The badge earner has participated in a production/distribution simulation game and can describe the supplier/customer relationship, the importance of supply chain visibility, the impact of lead time, and how decisions have an impact on the supply chain as a whole. The badge earner is able to recognize supply chain best practices such as replacing forecasts with actual demand, smoothing variability utilizing max/min ordering, and disintermediation of non-value added supply chain nodes.
