Earning Criteria

  • Nomination and sponsorship by the Future Leader's employer, given career accomplishments and high potential as a future marketing leader. Application and selection into the exclusive cohort of 25-30 Future Leaders.
  • Participation in a series of monthly expert-led workshops enabling BECA Future Leaders to understand critical business and professional development topics and scenarios. Each workshop focuses on a topic related to marketing, leadership or DEI. Workshop topics have included courses such as: C-Suite Perspectives; Digital Marketing Tools; Poly-cultural Marketing; Resilient Leadership; and The Evolving Role of the CMO.
  • Completion of e-Learning elective modules on marketing skills and topics. Elective modules include courses such as: Financial Fluency; Leveraging the MarTech Stack; Maintaining Consumer Trust in Communities of Color; Marketing through Influence; Supply Chain and Marketing; and Using Data to Drive Marketing Decisions.
  • Engagement in consistent one-on-one mentorship touchpoints with a BECA member C-Suite mentor. Future Leaders receive individualized coaching and guidance from their assigned mentor over the course of their two-year journey.
