The User-Centered Design (UCD) Guide badge earner is able to guide teams in applying the User-Centered Design framework and tools. Badge earners are able to inspire and coach others in the use of UCD methods and tools, so project teams can effectively leverage the UCD framework to creatively solve problems with solutions desirable to users. This badge is currently offered internal to Boeing only.

Earning Criteria

User-Centered Design Advocate
User-Centered Design Practitioner
Badge earners will generally have 1-2 years experience applying User-Centered Design to projects and coaching/guiding others on applying UCD.
Potential badge earners are evaluated by the UCD Badge Review Board members using defined criteria. Evaluation will include interview, 360 feedback and direct observation.
