BranchED Rubric on Inclusive Instruction Score Norming

The BranchED Inclusive Instruction Rubric was developed to assist Educational Preparation Programs, or EPPs, in training faculty on the components of inclusive instruction and on the use of the rubric to assess instructional materials for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, and assessing the extent to which these are evident in the curriculum.

Earning Criteria

By the end of this module, participants will be able to identify (a) the rationale for the evaluation of each of the criteria on the rubric and (b) areas for improvement for relevant criteria based on that evaluation, as determined by a score of 80% or above across all matching activities & evaluate a given curriculum accurately (e.g., in agreement with expert reviewers) by applying the rubric on inclusive instruction, as determined by 100% accuracy on all multiple-choice rubric assessments.
