This workshop "Up Close & Personal – Focusing on Teacher Candidates Characteristics" is part two of the Data Empowerment Series, titled: "Data is in the Details." Learning will occur during, after and post as it will be expanded from one workshop to the next. Objectives for this Workshop are: 1) Identify and structure needed variables 2) Compare and contrast performance data by specific student characteristics 3) Apply data visualizations and 4) Translate data into information.

Earning Criteria

Participants will be able to identify bright spots and areas of opportunity in their EPPs data use and continuous improvement cycles and be able to apply the tools from the workshop in their own programs. Additionally, participants will feel better prepared to explore data with stakeholders using visualization and guided questions.
