Intermediate English Level 2 (2B)
This intermediate English class provides students with grammatical skills such as the future tense and critical vocabulary for use in the workplace, community and as preparation for students interested in transitioning into college-level ESL programs. This course is designed to develop students' reading, writing, listening and speaking skills at the intermediate level.

Within the Four Domains of English (Listening, Reading, Speaking, & Writing) the student will be able to: 1. Conjugate & use used to; 2. Conjugate & use the present continuous for future actions; 3. Use modals to show probability, certainty & regret; 4. Use transitive & intransitive phrasal verbs; 5. Conjugate & use the present perfect tense with ever & never; 6. Use comparative adjectives; and 7. To effectively discuss educational/career goals, employment habits, travel, & purchasing issues.

Student will complete a final assessment through Four Domains of English (Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing) requiring a 70% or better to be successful.
