This intermediate English class provides students with grammatical skills such as gerunds and infinitives as well as critical vocabulary for use in the workplace, community and for students transitioning into college-level ESL programs. This course is designed to develop students' reading, writing, listening and speaking skills at a high intermediate level.

Within the Four Domains of English (Listening, Reading, Speaking, & Writing) the student will be able to: 1. Conjugate & use will, be going to & the present continuous to show future actions; 2. Use gerunds & infinitives; 3. Correctly use the simple past & the present perfect; 4. Create tag questions; 5. Convert quotes to reported speech; and 6. To effectively discuss short & long-term goals, interview skills, cultural traditions, workplace communication, housing & natural disasters.

Student will complete a final assessment through Four Domains of English (Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing) requiring a 70% or better to be successful.
