The earner of this badge has demonstrated a good understanding of the most important CFD basics and relevant fundamental aspects from fluid mechanics theory. The presented theory was put into practice through the completion of eight practical exercises (simulations). The topics covered in 8 sessions: initial and boundary conditions; numerical stability and convergence; internal and external flows; turbulence modelling; unstructured mesh generation and turbomachinery modelling.
