In this course, participants compare different types of pain medications and their method of action. They also describe current evidence for cannabis use to manage chronic pain and identify evidence based non-pharmacological pain management strategies. Finally, they understand and can explain how labeling a patient as a “drug seeker” is a stigmatizing act.
