Earners of this badge can make plans for different types of production lights, rig and position lights, use a lighting desk, apply safe manual-handling techniques, perform routine checks of equipment, identify and resolve issues with equipment, make production equipment available at specified locations and communicate effectively regarding lighting tasks to relevant personnel.
Earners of this badge have completed the lighting design and operation of theatrical lighting for three House events. This included preparing lighting plans, completing lighting tasks and completing post-production tasks.
