Junction Young Company

Earners have actively participated in Young Company (JYC), an inclusive programme for young people aged 14 – 21, who are interested in and excited by live performance. JYC participants are supported by professional artists and theatre companies, developing a range of theatrical skills, and annually the ensemble creates an original, devised performance which is showcased at Cambridge Junction.

Earning Criteria

Earners have developed key skills and techniques in movement, voice, character creation, devising, cross-art form performance and more by working with a professional artist/theatre company and connecting as an ensemble. The earner has joined the project via referral.
JYC demonstrated their acquired skills by working collaboratively with a professional artist/theatre company to create an original devised production which was then performed to a public audience at Cambridge Junction.
Earners have gained feedback on their performance from the audience, family, friends and peers.
