Earning Criteria

Attend in full the Introduction to Zero Carbon Building Standards webinar, or the on-demand video recording, and complete online quiz with a passing grade of 80%.
Complete these 5 core-concept courses, available on-demand, and pass the quizzes with a minimum score of 80%: Making the Case for Zero Carbon Buildings, The Zero Carbon Balance: An Overview, Zero Carbon Transition Planning: An Overview, Thermal Energy Demand Intensity (TEDI), Embodied Carbon: An Introduction.
Attend in full the Zero Carbon Building Standards Interactive Workshop and complete the online quiz with a passing grade of 80%.

Zero Carbon Building Design Standard™

The ZCB-Design Standard™ guides the design of new buildings or retrofits of existing ones. It offers a pathway to ensure buildings can achieve zero-carbon once in operation.

Zero Carbon Building Performance Standard™

The ZCB-Performance Standard™ is used to demonstrate that a building has achieved zero-carbon operations. It requires verification annually.
