Earners of the Critical Thinking - Foundation micro-credential can use a range of tools or methods to critically examine and assess existing information, thinking, assumptions and issues to present well-reasoned insights or to make judgements. They use inductive or deductive reasoning, analyse and prioritise complex information, present sound logic, data and reasons, make decisive judgements, modify and refine basic investigative processes, techniques and tools, and challenges current thinking.

Earning Criteria

Provided a reflection, artefacts and evidence on knowledge, relationships and experience that demonstrated the capability in action within a work setting.

Successfully proved capability through an interview reflecting on their knowledge and experience, assessed and confirmed by an external, fully qualified assessor panel.
Standards
This Micro-Credential aligns to Australian Qualifications Framework Level 5 /6 (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree).
The Human Capability Standards identify the non-technical worker and leadership capabilities that are most important in future job profiles. The standards are based on over 25 years of international scientific and applied research with over 50 ASX50 and Forbes500 organisations.
Select Universities recognise Capability.Co micro-credentials for advanced standing or credit into accredited undergraduate and postgraduate program. Entry will be subject to satisfying any other stated course admission requirements set by the University
