Earning Criteria

"Exploring One's Leadership Style through DiSC" provides awareness and understanding of the various DiSC® styles, providing students with an opportunity to identify their own work style and preferences that influence their behavior as a manager. Insight gained allows managers to identify their strengths, motivators, triggers, and potential vulnerabilities as they engage with others in the workplace.

"Communication Skills for Leaders" helps employees hone both communication and influencing skills; helping them to deliver the right message for winning outcomes.

"Fostering Diversity in the Workplace" discusses how people from different backgrounds, generations and experiences contribute to the richness and competitive edge of an organization. Also explored are ways to create an atmosphere of inclusion, understanding and appreciation – fostering an environment of creativity, collaboration and overall team performance.

"Critical Thinking and Creative Problem Solving" provides hands-on experience using critical thinking skills necessary to breakdown simple and complex problems, inviting thinking outside the individual’s regular patterns to discover innovative solutions allows for the recognition of opportunities for improved performance, profitability, and innovative and entrepreneurial solutions.

"Leading High Performing Teams " empowers employees to deal with change in the workplace - both personally and as team leaders. Topics include understanding both positive and negative effects of change, learning personal response to change, helping to lead employees through change, seeing change as an opportunity, and communication strategies during change.

"Building Conflict Competence" explores the nature of conflict and recognize their personal conflict management tendencies – both constructive and destructive. Common “hot buttons” that can trigger conflict are reviewed as well as techniques to diffuse workplace problems before they magnify.

"Organizational Skills for Busy Manager" is designed for busy managers operating in hybrid work environments who wish to enhance their organization skills to increase daily productivity and effectiveness.
