COVID 19 Contact Investigation Training Badge

Participants who complete the Contact Investigator Training Badge demonstrate: 1. Knowledge of the basics of COVID-19, including transmission, signs and symptoms of the disease, and the incubation and infectious periods. 2. Ability to identify and apply COVID-19 contact investigation protocols to realistic scenarios. 3. Understanding of ethical implications surrounding contacting tracing and handling private health information. 4. Ability to apply social determinants of health tenants.

This two-day, interactive training, developed by the Waukesha Country Public Health Division and Carroll University consists of four modules that includes ASTHO Training, Wisconsin Electronic Disease Surveillance System (WEDSS) Training, contact investigation scenarios, and Microsoft Teams Training.

Participant received and uploaded earned certificate: ASTHOS Making Contact: A Training for COVID-19 Contact Tracers Certificate.

Participant completed and passed each of three module assessments with a minimum score of 4/5, demonstrating efficiency in the following areas: Wisconsin Electronic Disease Surveillance System (WEDSS) Training, contact investigation scenarios, and Microsoft Teams Training.
