Earners of the Interprofessional Practice in a Medically Underserved Community badge are capable of delivering integrative health in a medically-underserved community to enhance the health of a client. They demonstrate knowledge of and the ability to apply the core competencies of interprofessional collaborative practice.
Earning Criteria

Recipients have demonstrated improvement in Readiness for Interprofessional Learning Scale (RIPLS) which measures teamwork/collaboration, negative/positive professional identity, and roles/responsibilities and/or in Interprofessional Collaborative Competencies Attainment Scale (ICCAS) which measures communication, collaboration, roles/responsibilities, patient-centered approach, conflict management and team functioning before/after the IPP experience.

Recipients have completed, submitted, and presented an interprofessional poster presentation written by interprofessional teams reporting findings from the implementation of their opportunity to enhance wellness intervention with their community-dwelling senior client. Recipients have demonstrated IPP competencies in final poster and presentation for interprofessional faculty reviewers.
