Participants gain core knowledge and skills required to transition from an individual contributor role to a leader. For existing leaders, it provides a refresher of legislative obligations, company expectations, and reiteration of best practices. This training ensures that new front line leaders are competent under the law, ensuring that they fully understand their legal obligations as well as the company's expectations, and can apply them consistently on the job.

Following an exam, this program also includes customized examples and site-specific scenarios, along with the integration of core competencies identified by Centerra Gold as essential to leadership success. Each participant completes post-training observation and receives coaching by CanScott facilitators to ensure knowledge transfer of course content and application on the job.
