Emotional intelligence is the capacity for recognizing our own feelings and those of others, for motivating ourselves, for managing emotions well in ourselves and in our relationships. Emotional Intelligence requires effective communication between the rational and emotional centers of the brain. Stress is our internal reaction to negative, threatening or worrisome situations and self management tactics are discussed to improve one's management of stress.
