Earning Criteria

Activity 1 involves learning and demonstrating written knowledge of laboratory safety in a workbook.

Activity 2 involves demonstrating written knowledge in a workbook, demonstrating competent use of microbiology equipment and competent application of microbiology skills, and accurate recording and interpretation of data.

Activity 3 involves demonstrating written knowledge in a workbook, demonstrating competent use of laboratory and computer equipment for DNA extraction and analysis, competent application of basic molecular microbiology skills, and accurate recording and interpretation of data.
