CDU Mentoring Program

The CDU Mentoring program matches students with an industry professional and facilitates at least 4 mentoring meetings throughout the semester, in which students can gain an insight in the Mentor’s career path, understand what it means to be a professional, build professional networks, identify some alternative career options and identify their own skill/experience gaps.

Earning Criteria

Mentoring students must complete an induction workshop (45 mins) and then 5-6 hours of one-on-one meetings with their Mentor in one semester. Students are required to complete a Learning Agreement at the first meeting with their Mentor and spend 4-5 hours preparing for and reflecting on meetings with their Mentor. An evaluation form is completed at the end of their mentoring experience.
