Conversational Greek – Step 1

This course focuses on developing fluency in the Greek language for everyday communication, both within the large Greek community in Australia and when visiting Greece as a tourist. Students are encouraged to use the language in class, with friends and in Greek shops. The successful completion of this digital badge, along with “Conversational Greek – Step 2”, will be equivalent to HEL261 Greek Language 3 or IAS403 Independent Studies.

Earning Criteria

To earn this credit, participants need to complete a 6-week, online certification course. They are required to complete their certification by creating two VoiceThread assignments and a VoiceThread presentation, demonstrating basic knowledge in using the Greek language (oral & written) in every day communicative activities.
