Disaster Health: Natural Disasters

This course presents core strategies and builds knowledge on preparing and responding to a natural disaster. It introduces students to distinct types of natural disasters and their impact on the health of people, and explores the injury or illness patterns that result from specific types of emergencies and how that influences health preparedness and response. This course is built upon the knowledge and experience of decades of health emergency work in the NCCTRC, in partnership with CDU.
