This course provides a basic introduction to physical, chemical and biological processes within the context of current environmental issues. It explores the physical basis of the greenhouse effect, role of greenhouse gas emissions, global warming trajectories and climate change ramifications. This provides a basis for understanding the greenhouse issue, climate change consequences, sea level rise and other effects, and examines the influence of rising temperature and heat in urban environments.
