It explores the physical basis of the greenhouse effect, role of greenhouse gas emissions, global warming trajectories and climate change ramifications. This provides a basis for understanding the greenhouse issue, climate change consequences, sea level rise and other effects, and examines the influence of rising temperature and heat in urban environments.

  • Answer multiple-choice questions to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of mechanisms and factors associated with greenhouse and global warming.
  • Critically evaluate data and information, graphing exercise.
  • Investigation and communication of findings – heat and the greenhouse effect. Develop a video recording to demonstrate knowledge of heat and how to measure it, and ways in which heat is gained and lost.
