This course introduces AI/machine learning, basic AI algorithms and their application. Students will develop an understanding of machine learning, including workflows, training and evaluation of machine learning models and building AI projects. Students will gain insight into mainstream AI models such as image recognition, generative AI for image generation and Large Language Models. Students will also gain an understanding of the societal implications of recent developments in AI.
